Change your existing Yahoo! ID

Ever wanted to change your existing Yahoo! ID? Did you make it in hurry
and now want to change it to some other name without creating a new ID?
Then this tutorial will help you for sure.

Yahoo! allows you to create upto 6 alias or personal names for your existing Yahoo! ID,
so you can have 6 different Yahoo!  IDs but can get all your mails in a single account.

You can create alias using any of following 4 methods:

1. Log into your Yahoo! account and goto your Mail Options. Click in Mail Addresses link. Now you can create your desired alias using "Get Started" link under Extra Mail Address section.

2. Log into your Yahoo! account and click on "My Account" link showing under your name in top-left side. It'll ask for your password again for security purposes. Now click on "Edit/Create Profiles" link under "Public Information" section.

3. Open Member Directory and click on "View My Profiles" link. Now you can create alias using "Create New Public Profile" button.

4. Open Yahoo! Messenger, login and goto "Messenger -> My Profiles". Now click on "Create/Edit My Profiles" button.

You can also use this direct link to create alias or personal names.

Now you can use all of your alias to send/receive mails, to chat in Yahoo! Messenger, etc.
